Historical Regatta

One of the great Italian classics linked to history and traditions.

The event is made up of two parts: the historical pageant, comprising dozens of typical sixteenth century boats bearing actors representing the Doge and his dignitaries, and the regattas, the symbol of the ancient Venetian seafaring tradition.

A great holiday on the spectacular scenario of the grand canal, principal waterway of the city.

Historical and Sport water pageant: parade along the Grand Canal by historical crafts with costumed crews, boats and gondolas of the Venetian rowing associations (Voga alla Veneta)
Course: from St. Mark's Bay all the way down the Grand Canal.
