Whaiwhai combines history and fantasy: you’ll step into the script of a story that plays out inside the city and you'll even get the chance to become one of its heroes. Whaiwhai can be played in cities or other places of interest. The experience changes to adapt to the specific features of the place where it is played. It is an experience you can already have in a few different cities – and soon, you’ll be able to play in specific quarters, historical sites and museums. It’s easy to play and you can choose how you want to do it. You can play alone or in a group, at a beginner’s level or an advanced level, for one hour up to as many as nine hours at a time. When you start a game you decide whether to play alone (and accept a personal challenge to solve the puzzles), or have fun playing with your friends and move through different paths that all converge at the last stage of the game. Then you can choose to play at the beginner level, where the puzzles will not be too complicated but will still require a spirit of observation. Or you can play at the advanced level, where puzzles will be more intricate – to solve them, you’ll have to rely on your own knowledge. That won’t stop you from completing the game, though, because if you make a mistake you can still try again.
